Hello, as you might know, my name is Carlos, I’m a System Engineer working with infrastructure since 2005 and currently working with Cloud through DevOps concepts, so why am I introducing myself? Because I need to give to you a bit of background about me in order to present the Global Squad Project. You can also find more information about me here.
One year ago I’ve started volunteering at ReDI School – https://www.redi-school.org/ which is an amazing tech school and initiative, its (mainly) idea is to teach how to code to refugees.
I’m one of the teachers for the Introduction to Computer Science course. My experience was so great and I’m so thankful for this opportunity, however, I feel that I can help the community even more and that’s why the Global Squad Project come up.
I’ve decided to help people that are interested in infrastructure topics such as Operating System (mainly Linux), Monitoring, Infra as a code, Cloud, and much more.
